Case Study — Local SEO
Mobile Mechanic in El Paso — Local SEO Built From Scratch
A mobile mechanic service in El Paso, Texas needed customers to find it instead of competitors. There was no local SEO foundation to build on — so I built the whole thing: website, Google Business Profile and local search strategy.
The Challenge
Competing El Paso mechanics already had websites and profiles. A brand-new entrant with no reviews, no citations and no rankings has to earn visibility page by page, search by search.
Starting from zero means nothing to inherit: no pages to improve, no profile to tidy, no history to learn from. Every signal Google uses to trust a local business — website, profile, citations, consistency — had to be created, in the right order, and made to agree.
What I Did — Step by Step
The work ran in a deliberate order: website structure first, then the Google Business Profile, then the consistency signals that tie them together.
- Built a full local SEO website from scratch — 14 pages, each mapped to a real El Paso service search
- Set up and fully optimized the Google Business Profile — categories, services, photos
- Local keyword mapping for ‘near me’ and service + city searches
- On-page SEO and local schema on every page
- Citation and consistency groundwork so the business data matches everywhere
1. A website built around real searches
Instead of one generic services page, the site was planned as 14 pages, each mapped to a real search an El Paso customer makes. Every page targets one clear service intent, so the site matches the search instead of competing with itself.
2. Google Business Profile set up and fully optimized
The profile was created, verified, then completed properly: categories that describe a mobile mechanic business, services listed one by one, and photos that show a real, operating local business.
3. Local keyword mapping
Each page and the profile were mapped to the two ways locals search: ‘near me’ searches, decided by location and profile strength, and service + city searches, where the matching page must exist and be optimized. The mapping decided what got built — nothing was published just to fill the site.
4. On-page SEO and local schema on every page
Every page received the full on-page treatment — titles, headings and content written for its one search — plus local business schema: structured data that tells Google exactly what the business is, what it does and where it operates, in a format machines can verify.
5. Citation and consistency groundwork
For a new business, consistency is a trust signal: the groundwork made sure the name, details and category story match wherever the business appears, so Google sees one clear entity, not conflicting fragments.

Where It Stands
The site is live with 14 pages indexed by Google and a verified Google Business Profile, positioned for the local searches El Paso customers actually make. It is live work — check it yourself; I don’t publish numbers I can’t show you.
Lessons From This Build
Foundation before promotion. A new business does not have a traffic problem first — it has a trust problem. Pages, profile and consistency work come first, because they are what Google evaluates.
One page per real search. Fourteen focused pages give a small business fourteen chances to match a customer’s exact need; one broad page gives it one.
Consistency is free, and most businesses skip it. When website, profile and citations tell the same story, a new business starts level with established competitors on every signal it can control.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does building local SEO from scratch actually involve?
Everything a new business needs to be found locally: a website with one page per real service search, a verified, fully optimized Google Business Profile, keyword mapping, on-page SEO with local schema, and citation groundwork so details match everywhere.
Why 14 pages for a mobile mechanic website?
Because customers search for individual services, not for “a mechanic” in general. Each page here was mapped to a real El Paso service search, so every service offered has its own page ready to match the person searching for it.
Can you build local SEO for a business outside Saudi Arabia?
Yes. This project is in El Paso, Texas, delivered entirely remotely. I work with businesses in the US, UK, UAE, Canada and worldwide from my base in Saudi Arabia — the process is the same; only the market changes.
Do you guarantee first-page rankings for a new business?
No — and be careful with anyone who does. What I commit to is the complete foundation, built properly: the pages, profile, schema and consistency work a new business needs before rankings can be earned. This build is live; you can check it yourself.
